During this two-day digital event, attendees can choose form 30+ IT strategy sessions, multiple how-to workshops, over 20 technology demos, Q&As, and roadmap sessions to see the future benefits of Extremes full portfolio.

The agenda will include topics on digital transformation, Wi-Fi and 5G, “New Normal” network considerations in education, healthcare and retail, and the future of live sports. Some of the sessions include:

    Michael Gale, best-selling author on digital transformation and Forbes contributor, and Camille Mendler, Chief Analyst, Enterprise Services at Omdia, will join Extreme’s Chief Marketing Officer Wes Durow for a discussion on the short- and long-term impact of COVID-19 to IT leaders and the business roles they support.
  • Returning to the Field
    September 17 – 9 a.m. BST/12 p.m. EST
    Michelle McKenna, CIO of the NFL and Sampath Sowmyanarayan, President of Global Enterprise, Verizon, will join Extreme’s Chief Operating Officer, Norman Rice for a conversation on the NFL’s COVID response, the technology-driven strategies they have/will implement to ensure player and fan safety, such as touchless payments and occupancy management, and the role Wi-Fi and 5G plays in making it all happen.

Topics will include AI, analytics, and programmability features of new ASICs, and the role cloud technologies will play in providing security, predictive analysis, and automation to customers.
  • The Future of Live Sports

    The Extreme IT team will review our transition experience to the cloud from a network operations perspective. VP of IS Jeff Creasy and Director of IS Larry Baker will look at Extreme’s global architecture, topology, and lessons learned from our rollout of our integrated cloud solution.

    Dave Baker, President and CEO of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, will join Extreme’s Chief Operating Officer Norman Rice for a  conversation on how to be a successful leader through times of change and insights on what it means to be a leader.
  • Industry View: Technical Drivers of Your Next RFP
    September 17 – 10:30 a.m. BST / 1:30 p.m. EST
    Chris DePuy and Alan Weckel, Principal Analysts and Founders of 650 Group, will break down working from home and changes to wired and wireless networks, contact tracing, unlicensed spectrum in the enterprise, architecture shifts in campus networking, and how cloud management plays a huge part in this new world.

Following the technical sessions attendees can relax and unwind during our Connect UP Entertainment hour. Attendees can try a new cocktail recipe (Mix UP), play a story for their kids (Read UP), learn a new skill or talent (Brush UP), or enjoy some tunes from one of our special musical guests (Listen UP). They will also have the option to spectate or register to play in one of 150 matches in an esports tournament.

The Level UP Arcade will conclude each day at 5:30pm – 7:30pm EST. Attendees will have the chance to play Overwatch, Valorant, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, and Rocket League. Matches will be held on the Eastern College Athletics Conferences (ECAC) Twitch channel, @ecac_esports. In addition to Extreme Connect attendees, participants will include 4,000 members from the North America Scholastic Esports Federation, High School Esports League, ECAC, and the National Junior College Athletic Association. Players in the qualifier matches will advance to day two of the Level UP Arcade to play with professional esports gamers and former NFL players, including Ahman Green, Shane Vereen, and Brock Vereen.
