Oral Roberts University does it all. With over 100 undergraduate majors, 25 graduate and doctoral programs, online degree options, 14 Division I NCAA varsity sports teams, and over 4,000 students, the demand for a strong, easy-to-manage network was clear.

Mike Mathews, Vice President of Technology and Innovation at ORU, saw an opportunity to partner with Extreme Networks to transform their network and leverage all things digital to improve connectivity with students and experts around the globe, improve the fan experience in their stadiums, and provide their students with the necessary tools to learn. Technology has become essential in education today, but at ORU, they are using technology to create unique learning opportunities that will prepare students for the future after graduation.

The fan experience at Oral Roberts sporting events has been transformed with stronger in-stadium connections to promote mobile payment and ticketing options while enabling fans’ phones to be a part of the experience. When the connection is strong, fans can share their photos or live updates through social media and show off their Golden Eagle pride!

Learn more about why ORU decided to become an all-digital university and how Extreme helped them achieve this with this video.
