Extreme Networks Honors School City of Mishawaka for Ongoing Commitment to Personalized 21st Century Learning

Extreme Networks is committed to delivering the most innovative and reliable wired and wireless solutions to students and educators, to create a highly motivated learning environment in the classroom. It is always an honor to recognize schools for their shared commitment to implementing personalized learning environments for every student, which is why School City of Mishawaka is our latest recipient of the Extreme Exemplary School Award. Across ten buildings within the district in Indiana, School City of Mishawaka has embraced forward-thinking learning methods through a variety of network infrastructure innovations.

Having received generous funding from Mishawaka Education Foundation and the FCC’s E-rate program, School City of Mishawaka was able to implement wireless solutions throughout all ten education buildings, enabling more devices to be used across the network. We are proud to recognize School City of Mishawaka for their continued commitment to enriching student education objectives through personalized learning, and we hope to inspire more schools to do the same.

Dr. Theodore Stevens, assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction at School City of Mishawaka stated, “Extreme Networks and its partner, Qubit Networks, have seamlessly provided School City of Mishawaka with integrated wired and wireless solutions that enable us to deliver students a safe and secure way to learn. Mishawaka’s ongoing partnership with Extreme and Qubit will be crucial in further fostering our personalized learning environment.”

An award presentation is scheduled for October 25, 2016 at 7:00 p.m., when we will present the Exemplary School Award during the School Board Meeting being held at Emmons Elementary School, 1306 S. Main St., Mishawaka, IN.
