For our first annual Extreme Connect we’re offering an exclusive opportunity to network with your Hospitality peers. In this interactive and collaborative session, Hospitality IT leaders breakdown their personal challenges and successes. You’re guaranteed to return home with fresh perspectives and insightful takeaways – to apply to your day to day role and your upcoming projects. Three hours will be dedicated at Extreme Connect strictly for sharing your Hospitality topics, roadblocks, and unique solutions with other IT leaders. Not to mention, the final discussion topics are driven by you! The topics and agenda will be driven by feedback we collect before and during the event.
At the Hospitality session you’ll hear short presentations from a select group of participants, who will share their respective IT challenges and the technologies they leveraged to find solutions for these challenges. Let us know if you would like to give a brief overview of a challenge you are currently faced with, which your peers can respond to. The group will also discuss commonly-held goals and specific projects, outlining the unique approach they took in successfully completing these endeavors. For Hospitality, topics may include deploying guest-facing Wi-Fi, designing network solutions for unique (high-density, outdoor, etc.) environments, onboarding and managing BYOD devices and clients, harnessing actionable analytics, and enabling the key operational assets of the business.
The Birds of a Feather (BoF) sessions are organized by industry peers and facilitated by IT industry leaders. Not only will we have sessions for Hospitality, but also education, healthcare, and venues/hospitality. As registrations continue, we may offer additional sessions to accommodate other industries.

The Hospitality BoF, is just one of the sessions you’ll want to participate in at Extreme Connect. There’s also Network and Application Performance Optimization with ExtremeAnalytics. This session will present various real-world use cases that impact network and application performance and show how ExtremeAnalytics can be leveraged to gain network-wide visibility and perform rapid troubleshooting through an intuitive UI.
If you’re not in the Retail/Transportation industry, there is still a BoF for you, and plenty of technology sessions. For more on Extreme Connect and to register, visit the Extreme Connect 2018 User Conference page.
